Hadith 25:1101
Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Malik ibn Mighwal informed us, from Sulayman al-Shaybani, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, took a ring and wore it. Then he said, "This has occupied me from you since today; a glance at it, and a glance at you." Then he threw it away.
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر، أخبرنا مالك بن مغول، عن سليمان الشيباني، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اتخذ خاتما، فلبسه، ثم قال: " شغلني هذا عنكم منذ اليوم، إليه نظرة، وإليكم نظرة " ثم رمى به
