Musnad Ahmad 25:1104

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1104

Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Rukanah narrated to me, from Ikrimah, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not set a fixed limit (hadd) for wine. Ibn Abbas said: A man drank and became intoxicated, and he was found swaying in a mountain pass. He was taken to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said: When he was parallel to the house of Abbas, he broke free and entered upon Abbas, and embraced him from behind. They mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, so he laughed and said: "Has he done it?" Then he did not command them regarding him with anything.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
