Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1107
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hisham ibn Abi 'Abd Allah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas, that 'Ali was brought some people from the Zutt who were worshipping an idol, so he burned them. Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, only said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'"
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا هشام بن أبي عبد الله، عن قتادة، عن أنس، أن عليا، أتي بأناس من الزط يعبدون وثنا، فأحرقهم، فقال ابن عباس: إنما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من بدل دينه فاقتلوه "
