Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from al-Hakam ibn Utaybah, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by us on the night of the sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), while we were in the darkness of the night. He began striking our thighs and saying: "My sons, depart (from Muzdalifah), and do not stone the Jamrah until the sun rises."
