Musnad Ahmad 25:1146

'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, the freed slave of Abu Talhah, from Kurayb, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The name of Juwayriyah bint al-Harith was Barrah, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, changed her name and named her Juwayriyah."
