Musnad Ahmad 25:1156

'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, Nuh ibn Ja'wanah al-Sulami al-Khurasani narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to the mosque while gesturing with his hand like this—and Abu 'Abd al-Rahman gestured with his hand toward the ground—: "Whoever grants respite to one in difficulty, or remits [the debt] for him, Allah will protect him from the scorching heat of Hell. Verily, the work of Paradise is difficult, upon a high ground—[he said this] three times. Verily, the work of Hell is easy, upon a low, level ground. The happy one is he who is protected from tribulations. And there is no gulp more beloved to me than a gulp of rage that a servant suppresses; no servant suppresses it for the sake of Allah but that Allah fills his interior with faith."
