Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1181

'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Abu Bishr narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: That Umm Hufayd bint al-Harith ibn Hazn, the maternal aunt of Ibn 'Abbas, gifted the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, clarified butter, dried yogurt, and dabb lizards. He said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, called for them, and they were eaten at his table. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, left them as if he found them repulsive." "If they were forbidden, they would not have been eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, nor would he have ordered them to be eaten."
