Musnad Ahmad 25:1182

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1182

'Affan narrated to us, he said: Sukayn ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to me, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: A certain person was the rider behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the day of 'Arafah. He said: The young man began to observe the women and look at them. He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, began to turn his face away with his hand from behind him repeatedly. He said: And the young man continued to observe them. He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "O son of my brother, this is a day in which whoever controls his hearing, his sight, and his tongue, he will be forgiven."
