Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:121
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, 'Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went on a journey, and he stayed for nineteen [days] praying two rak'ahs and two rak'ahs." Ibn 'Abbas said: "So when we travel and stay for nineteen [days], we pray two rak'ahs and two rak'ahs, and if we stay longer than that, we pray four."
حدثنا أبو معاوية، حدثنا عاصم الأحول، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال: " سافر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سفرا، فأقام تسع عشرة يصلي ركعتين ركعتين " قال ابن عباس: " فنحن إذا سافرنا، فأقمنا تسع عشرة صلينا ركعتين ركعتين، فإذا أقمنا أكثر من ذلك صلينا أربعا "
