Musnad Ahmad 25:1234

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1234

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ayyub informed us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: That when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) arrived in Makkah, he refused to enter the House while there were idols in it. So he commanded them, and they were taken out. The image of Ibrahim and Isma'il (peace be upon them both) was brought out, with the arrows of divination in their hands. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "May Allah fight them! By Allah, they knew that they never divided anything with them." He said: Then he entered the House, and he proclaimed the greatness of Allah (Takbir) in the corners of the House, and he went out and did not pray inside the House.
