Musnad Ahmad 25:1242
Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 25:1242
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, 'Umar ibn Farrukh narrated to us, Habib—meaning Ibn al-Zubayr—narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah, who said: I saw a man praying in the Mosque of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He would say the takbir when he prostrated, when he rose, and when he lowered himself. I disapproved of that, so I mentioned it to Ibn 'Abbas. He said: "May you have no mother! That is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
