Musnad Ahmad 25:1294
Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 25:1294
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far and Bahz narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from ‘Adi ibn Thabit. Bahz said: ‘Adi ibn Thabit informed me, he said: I heard Sa‘id ibn Jubayr narrating from Ibn ‘Abbas: "That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out on the day of Adha—or the day of Fitr, he said: And my strongest assumption is that he said: the day of Fitr—and he prayed two rak‘ahs; he did not pray before them, nor after them. Then he came to the women, and Bilal was with him, and he commanded them to give charity. So the woman began casting her earring and her necklace." And Bahz did not doubt, he said: "The day of Fitr," and he said: "Sakhaba-ha" (her necklace).
