Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 25:1308
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar, from Suhayb, from Ibn ‘Abbas. And ‘Affan said—meaning in his hadith—: Al-Hakam informed me, from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar, from Suhayb—I said: Who is Suhayb? He said: A man from the people of Basra—from Ibn ‘Abbas: "That he was upon a donkey, he and a young boy from Banu Hashim, and he passed in front of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was praying, and he did not turn away. And two young girls from Banu ‘Abd al-Muttalib came, and they took hold of the knees of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he separated between them—or he parted them—and he did not turn away."
