Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1317
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, al-Hakam narrated to us, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out in Ramadan while he was marching to Makkah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasted until he reached Qadid. Then he called for a cup of milk and drank it. He said: Then his companions broke their fast until they reached Makkah."
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا شعبة، حدثنا الحكم، عن مقسم، عن ابن عباس، قال: " خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في رمضان وهو يغزو مكة، فصام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، حتى أتى قديدا، ثم دعا بقدح من لبن، فشربه، قال: ثم أفطر أصحابه حتى أتوا مكة "
