Musnad Ahmad 25:1323

Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to me, from Qatadah, that Abu Hassan al-A'raj said: A man from Banu al-Hujaym, who was called so-and-so son of Bujayl, said to Ibn Abbas: "What is this fatwa that has confused [or agitated] the people: 'Whoever circumambulates the House [the Kaaba] has become in a state of ihlal [i.e., exited the state of ihram]'?" He replied: "It is the Sunnah of your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, even if you dislike it." Shu'bah said: "I say 'shaghabat' [agitated/confused], and I do not know how it is [exactly]."
