Musnad Ahmad 25:1335

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Salamah, from Kurayb, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: I spent the night at my maternal aunt Maymunah's house. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) got up during the night, went to relieve himself, then washed his face and his hands, then stood up and went to the water skin and loosened its tie. Then he performed ablution, a moderate ablution, not excessive, yet he was thorough. Then he stood and prayed. I stood up and stretched, disliking that he should see that I was watching him, and I performed ablution. He stood to pray, and I stood to his left. He took me by my ear and turned me to his right. The prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) during the night was completed as thirteen rak'ahs. Then he lay down and slept until he breathed heavily, and when he slept, he would breathe heavily. Bilal came to him and informed him of the prayer, so he stood and prayed and did not perform ablution. He used to say in his supplication: "O Allah, place light in my heart, and light in my vision, and light in my hearing, and light to my right, and light to my left, and light above me, and light below me, and light in front of me, and light behind me, and make light great for me." Kurayb said: "And seven in the chest (i.e., the container of knowledge)." He said: I met some of the children of 'Abbas, and he narrated them to me, and he mentioned: "My nerves, my flesh, my blood, my hair, and my skin." He said: "And he mentioned two other qualities."
