Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1345
Waki’ and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, they said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from al-Hasan al-‘Arani, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "When you have stoned the Jamrah, everything has become permissible for you except women." A man said: "And perfume?" — ‘Abd al-Rahman said: A man said to him: "O Abu al-‘Abbas" — Ibn ‘Abbas said: "As for me, I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) anointing his head with musk. Is that perfume or not?"
حدثنا وكيع، وعبد الرحمن، قالا: حدثنا سفيان، عن سلمة بن كهيل، عن الحسن العرني، عن ابن عباس، قال: إذا رميتم الجمرة، فقد حل لكم كل شيء إلا النساء، قال: فقال رجل: والطيب؟ - قال عبد الرحمن: فقال له رجل: يا أبا العباس -: فقال ابن عباس: أما أنا فقد " رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يضمخ رأسه بالمسك، أفطيب ذاك أم لا؟ "
