Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1347
Waki’ narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu Hassan al-A’raj, from Ibn Abbas: "When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came to Dhu al-Hulayfah, he entered into Ihram for Hajj. He marked his sacrificial animal on the right side of its hump and wiped the blood away from it, and he placed two sandals as a garland upon it."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا هشام، عن قتادة، عن أبي حسان الأعرج، عن ابن عباس: " أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لما أتى ذا الحليفة، أحرم بالحج، وأشعر هديه في شق السنام الأيمن، وأماط عنه الدم، وقلد نعلين "
