Musnad Ahmad 25:1350

Waki' narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from Medina fasting during the month of Ramadan. When he reached Qadid, he broke his fast, and he remained not fasting until he entered Mecca."
