Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from al-Hasan ibn Muslim, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "I witnessed the Eid with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr, and Umar, and they began with the prayer before the sermon."
