Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1377
Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, Habib ibn Abi Thabit narrated to us, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that: "He prayed with them during an eclipse eight rak'ahs. He recited, then bowed, then rose, then recited, then bowed, then rose, then recited, then bowed, then rose, then recited, then bowed, then rose, then prostrated." He said: "And the other (rak'ah) was like it."
حدثنا يحيى، عن سفيان، حدثنا حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن طاوس، عن ابن عباس، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه: " صلى بهم في كسوف ثمان ركعات، قرأ، ثم ركع، ثم رفع، ثم قرأ، ثم ركع، ثم رفع، ثم قرأ، ثم ركع، ثم رفع، ثم قرأ، ثم ركع، ثم رفع، ثم سجد " قال: والأخرى مثلها
