Hadith 25:138
Isma'il narrated to us, Sufyan al-Thawri informed us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas: "That the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed during the solar eclipse eight rak'ahs and four prostrations."
حدثنا إسماعيل، أخبرنا سفيان الثوري، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن طاوس، عن ابن عباس: " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى عند كسوف الشمس ثماني ركعات، وأربع سجدات "
