Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 25:1385

Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: Qatadah narrated to me. And Rawh narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah, he said: I heard Abu Hassan, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed Dhuhr at Dhu al-Hulayfah, then he called for his sacrificial animal (badanah). He gashed the right side of its hump, wiped the blood from it, and garlanded it with two sandals. Then he called for his riding camel. When it stood up with him at al-Bayda', he entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj."

حدثنا يحيى، عن شعبة، قال: حدثني قتادة، وحدثنا روح، حدثنا شعبة، قال: سمعت قتادة، قال: سمعت أبا حسان، عن ابن عباس، قال: " صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الظهر بذي الحليفة ، ثم دعا ببدنته، فأشعر صفحة سنامها الأيمن، وسلت الدم عنها، وقلدها نعلين، ثم دعا براحلته، فلما استوت به على البيداء، أهل بالحج "
