Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1394
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Abbas: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said on the day of the Conquest: "Its vegetation must not be cut, its game must not be startled, its thorny trees must not be felled, and its lost property is not lawful except for one who announces it." Al-'Abbas said: "Except for *idhkhir* (lemon grass), O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Except for *idhkhir*, for it is lawful."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا معمر، عن عمرو بن دينار، عن ابن عباس: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال يوم الفتح: " لا يختلى خلاها، ولا ينفر صيدها، ولا يعضد عضاهها، ولا تحل لقطتها إلا لمنشد " فقال العباس: إلا الإذخر يا رسول الله، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إلا الإذخر، فإنه حلال "
