Musnad Ahmad 25:1426

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1426

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Matar, from 'Ata', that Ibn al-Zubayr prayed the Maghrib prayer and performed the taslim after two rak'ahs, and he stood up to touch the Black Stone. The people glorified Allah (said subhanAllah), so he said: "What is the matter with you?" He said: "So he prayed what remained and performed two prostrations." He said: "This was mentioned to Ibn 'Abbas, and he said: 'He did not deviate from the Sunnah of his Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'"
