Hadith 25:1439
Yazid narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, from al-Minhal, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Muslim who visits his brother, and enters upon him, and his appointed time (of death) has not yet arrived, and he says: 'I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to heal so-and-so of his pain,' seven times, except that Allah the Almighty heals him of it."
حدثنا يزيد، أخبرنا الحجاج، عن المنهال، عن عبد الله بن الحارث، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما من مسلم عاد أخاه، فيدخل عليه، ولم يحضر أجله، فقال: أسأل الله العظيم، رب العرش العظيم، أن يشفي فلانا من وجعه، سبعا، إلا شفاه الله عز وجل منه "
