Musnad Ahmad 25:1441

Yazid narrated to us, Mansur ibn Hayyan informed us, he said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrating from Ibn Umar and Ibn Abbas that they both testified regarding the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "That he forbade the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *naqir* (hollowed-out log)." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, recited: "And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from." [Al-Hashr: 7]
