Musnad Ahmad 25:1450

Yazid narrated to us, Mas'udi informed us, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, departed from Arafat, the people hastened (their mounts). The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ordered a caller, and he called out: "O people, righteousness is not in the hastening of horses and camels." I did not see them (the mounts) thereafter raising their forelegs or running fast.
