Hadith 25:1484
Waki’ narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Mawhab narrated to us, from Nafi’ ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The previously married woman has more right to herself than her guardian, and the virgin is to be asked for permission regarding herself, and her silence is her consent."
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن موهب، عن نافع بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الأيم أولى بنفسها من وليها، والبكر تستأمر في نفسها، وصمتها إقرارها "
