Hadith 25:1488
Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) arrived in Mecca in the year of al-Hudaybiyah, he passed by the Quraysh while they were sitting in Dar al-Nadwa. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "These people have been saying that you are weak (due to fever), so trot for three rounds when you arrive." He said: So when they arrived, they trotted for three rounds. He said: The polytheists said: "Are these the ones we were saying were weak? They were not satisfied with walking until they ran."
