Musnad Ahmad 25:1492

Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Jabbar ibn al-Ward, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, he said: Ibn ‘Abbas said to ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr: "O ‘Urwah, ask your mother: 'Did your father not come with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and then exit the state of ihram?'"
