Hadith 25:1504
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Za'idah, and 'Abd al-Samad, who said: Za'idah narrated to us, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed towards Bayt al-Maqdis—'Abd al-Samad said: 'And those who were with him'—for sixteen months. Then the Qiblah was changed afterwards." 'Abd al-Samad said: "Then the Qiblah was made towards Bayt al-Maqdis." And Mu'awiyah—meaning Ibn 'Amr—said: "Then the Qiblah was changed afterwards."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن، عن زائدة، وعبد الصمد، قال: حدثنا زائدة، عن سماك، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال: " صلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نحو بيت المقدس - قال عبد الصمد: ومن معه - ستة عشر شهرا، ثم حولت القبلة بعد، قال عبد الصمد: ثم جعلت القبلة نحو بيت المقدس وقال معاوية يعني ابن عمرو: ثم حولت القبلة بعد
