Musnad Ahmad 25:1548

'Affan narrated to us, Aban narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah mentioning from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Ibn 'Abbas, and 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the delegation of 'Abd al-Qays came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, among them was al-Ashajj, the brother of Banu 'Asr, and he mentioned the meaning [of the hadith].
