Abu Kamil narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym and Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Sufyan informed us, from Abdullah—the meaning [of the narration]—from Sa'id bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Wear white from your garments, for they are among the best of your garments, and shroud your dead in them. And indeed, the best of your kohl is antimony (ithmid), for it causes hair to grow and clears the vision."
