Musnad Ahmad 25:1586

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:1586

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, who said: A man came to Ibn 'Abbas and mentioned the hadith. He said: And I heard your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "The murdered person will come on the Day of Resurrection, holding his head—either he said: with his left hand, or with his right hand—while his jugular veins are gushing blood, before the Throne of the Most Merciful, Blessed and Exalted is He. He will say: 'O Lord, ask this one: for what did he kill me?'"
