Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1598
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from 'Asim al-Ahwal, from al-Sha'bi, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was cupped by a slave of the Banu Bayada, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gave him his wage. If it were forbidden, he would not have given it to him." He said: "And he ordered his masters to lighten some of his tribute for him."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، حدثنا معمر، عن عاصم الأحول، عن الشعبي، عن ابن عباس، قال: " حجم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عبد لبني بياضة، وأعطاه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أجره، ولو كان حراما لم يعطه، قال: وأمر مواليه أن يخففوا عنه بعض خراجه "
