Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1609
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Sulayman al-Ahwal informed me that Tawus informed him that he heard Ibn 'Abbas saying: When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would perform the night prayer (tahajjud), he would mention something similar to the supplication of Sufyan, except that he said: "And Your promise is the truth, and Your word is the truth, and the meeting with You is the truth." And he said: "And what I have concealed and what I have declared; You are my God, there is no god but You."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا ابن جريج، قال: أخبرني سليمان الأحول، أن طاوسا، أخبره أنه، سمع ابن عباس يقول: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا تهجد من الليل، فذكر نحو دعاء سفيان، إلا أنه قال: " ووعدك الحق، وقولك الحق، ولقاؤك الحق " وقال: " وما أسررت وما أعلنت، أنت إلهي، لا إله إلا أنت "
