Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1611
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, who said: Ibn 'Abbas used to narrate that Abu Bakr uncovered the face of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was dead, [covered by] a Hibra mantle that he was shrouded with. He looked at the face of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then he leaned over him and kissed him.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، عن معمر، عن الزهري، عن أبي سلمة، قال: كان ابن عباس يحدث: أن أبا بكر " كشف عن وجه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو ميت برد حبرة كان مسجى عليه، فنظر إلى وجه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثم أكب عليه فقبله "
