Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Zakariya ibn Umar informed me, that ‘Ata’ informed him that Ibn ‘Abbas called al-Fadl. He said: "Shall I not give you a garment that I wore?" He said: "Yes." So he gave him a garment. He said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wearing it, and he said: 'Wear this, for it is softer and more beautiful,' or he said: 'It is better.'"
