Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1623
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade meeting the riders (coming with merchandise), and that a town-dweller should sell for a desert-dweller." I said to Ibn 'Abbas: "What is his saying 'a town-dweller for a desert-dweller'?" He said: "He should not be a broker for him."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، حدثنا معمر، عن ابن طاوس، عن أبيه، عن ابن عباس، قال: " نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يتلقى الركبان، وأن يبيع حاضر لباد " قال: قلت لابن عباس: ما قوله " حاضر لباد؟ " قال: لا يكون له سمسارا
