Hadith 25:1636

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Bakr, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered the mosque while he was upon his camel, and Usamah ibn Zayd was behind him. He asked for a drink, so we gave him *nabidh* (a drink made from soaked dates or raisins) to drink. He drank, then he handed the remainder to Usamah and said: "You have done well and acted beautifully, so do likewise." And we do not wish to change that.
