Rawh narrated to us, 'Abbad bin Mansur narrated to us, 'Ikrimah bin Khalid bin al-Mughirah narrated to me, that Sa'id bin Jubayr narrated to him, he said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: I came to my maternal aunt Maymunah, and I found that it was the night of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with her. He mentioned the like of the hadith of Yazid, except that he said: Until when the first dawn rose, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, refrained for a short while. Until when the morning became bright for him, he stood and prayed the Witr as nine rak'ahs, saying the taslim after every two rak'ahs. Until when he finished his Witr, he refrained for a little while. Until when he felt it was morning, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood and performed the two rak'ahs of Fajr for the morning prayer. Then he laid down on his side and slept until I heard his snoring. He said: Then Bilal came and awakened him for the prayer, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood and prayed the morning prayer.
