Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1668
Rawh and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad narrated to us, from Qays. ‘Affan said: Hammad informed us in his hadith, he said: Qays informed us, from Mujahid, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that he said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to Zamzam, and we drew a bucket for him. He drank, then he spat into it, then we poured it back into Zamzam. Then he said: "Were it not that you would be overcome regarding it, I would have drawn it with my own hand."
حدثنا روح، وعفان قالا: حدثنا حماد، عن قيس، قال: عفان، أخبرنا حماد، في حديثه قال: أخبرنا قيس، عن مجاهد، عن ابن عباس، أنه قال: جاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى زمزم، فنزعنا له دلوا، فشرب، ثم مج فيها، ثم أفرغناها في زمزم، ثم قال: " لولا أن تغلبوا عليها، لنزعت بيدي "
