مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1677
Rawh narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, that the Quraysh said: "The fever of Yathrib has weakened Muhammad and his companions." When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) arrived in the year he performed the Umrah, he said to his companions: "Perform *ramal* (brisk walking) around the House so that the polytheists may see your strength." When they performed the *ramal*, the Quraysh said: "They have not been weakened."
حدثنا روح، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة، عن أيوب، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، أن قريشا قالت: إن محمدا، وأصحابه قد وهنتهم حمى يثرب، فلما قدم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لعامه الذي اعتمر فيه، قال لأصحابه: " ارملوا بالبيت ليرى المشركون قوتكم " فلما رملوا، قالت قريش: ما وهنتهم
