'Abd al-Samad and Hasan narrated to us, they said: Thabit narrated to us, Hasan Abu Zayd said: 'Abd al-Samad said: He said: Hilal narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was taken by night to Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), then he came back that same night and told them about his journey, the signs of Bayt al-Maqdis, and their caravan. Some people said—Hasan said: 'Shall we believe Muhammad in what he says?'—so they apostatized and became disbelievers, and Allah struck their necks along with Abu Jahl. Abu Jahl said: 'Muhammad frightens us with the tree of Zaqqum; bring dates and butter, and let us eat (zaqqumu).' He saw the Dajjal in his true form, a vision of the eye, not a vision of sleep, and (he saw) 'Isa, Musa, and Ibrahim, may the blessings of Allah be upon them. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked about the Dajjal, and he said: 'He is fair-skinned and white-complexioned'—Hasan said: He said: 'I saw him as a bulky man, fair-skinned and white-complexioned'—'one of his eyes is protruding, as if it were a shining star, and the hair of his head is like the branches of a tree.' 'And I saw 'Isa as a young man, white, with curly hair, sharp-sighted, and of a lean build. And I saw Musa as dark-skinned and brown, with much hair'—Hasan said: 'hair'—'and of a strong build. And I looked at Ibrahim, and I did not look at any limb of his limbs, but that I looked at it on myself, as if he were your companion.' Then Jibril, peace be upon him, said: 'Greet Malik,' so I greeted him."
