Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:18
Hashim narrated to us, our companions informed us, among them Shu'bah, from Qatadah, from Abu Hassan, from Ibn Abbas: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) marked his sacrificial animal (budnah) on the right side, then wiped the blood from it, and garlanded it with two sandals."
حدثنا هشيم، أخبرنا أصحابنا منهم شعبة، عن قتادة، عن أبي حسان، عن ابن عباس، " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أشعر بدنته من الجانب الأيمن، ثم سلت الدم عنها، وقلدها نعلين "
