Hadith 25:199
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Musa bin Muslim al-Tahhan al-Saghir narrated to us, he said: I heard Ikrimah, raising the hadith—as I believe—to Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever leaves snakes out of fear of pursuing them, he is not of us. We have not made peace with them since we waged war against them."
حدثنا ابن نمير، حدثنا موسى بن مسلم الطحان الصغير، قال: سمعت عكرمة، يرفع الحديث فيما أرى إلى ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من ترك الحيات مخافة طلبهن، فليس منا، ما سالمناهن منذ حاربناهن "
