Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:2
Hushaym narrated to us, Ajlah informed us, from Yazid ibn al-Asamm, from Ibn Abbas, that a man said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "What Allah wills, and you will." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "Have you made me an equal to Allah? Rather, what Allah wills alone."
حدثنا هشيم، أخبرنا أجلح، عن يزيد بن الأصم، عن ابن عباس، أن رجلا قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما شاء الله، وشئت، فقال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أجعلتني والله عدلا بل ما شاء الله وحده "
