Hadith 25:230
Waki’ narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn ‘Ubayd, from Ibn ‘Abbas: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would have *nabidh* (a drink made by soaking dates or raisins in water) prepared for him on Thursday night. He would drink it on Thursday and on Friday." He said: "And I think he said: 'And on Saturday.' Then, when it was the time of *‘Asr* (late afternoon), if anything remained of it, he would give it to the servants to drink, or he would order it to be poured out."
