Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:243
Waki’ narrated to us, Isra’il narrated to us, from Jabir, from Abu Ja’far and ‘Ata’, they both said: "The Adha (sacrifice) is a Sunnah." And ‘Ikrimah said, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I have been commanded to perform the Adha and the Witr, and they were not made obligatory upon you."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا إسرائيل، عن جابر، عن أبي جعفر، وعطاء، قالا: الأضحى سنة، وقال عكرمة: عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أمرت بالأضحى ، والوتر، ولم تكتب "
